Footprints for Hope is Tomorrow!

Support the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia tomorrow! Participate in the Footprints for Hope 5K Run or 3 Mile/1 Mile Walk, taking place at Connections for Hope, a partnership of nonprofit organizations and service providers.
*8 AM Registration, 9 AM Walk/Run Starts
*Registration closes Saturday, May 19, 2012

SCHEDULE
8:00AM – Registration at Connections for Hope
9:00AM – 5K Run Begins
9:05AM – 3M Walk Begins
9:10AM – 1M Walk Begins
9:30AM – Community Festival
COURSE – Course Map
The 5K & 3M certified course starts and finishes in front of Connections for Hope and winds it’s way through the surrounding neighborhood. There will be one water station at about the half-way mark. The 1M course is a scenic route through the parkland, to the gazebo, behind the building. Course map.
REGISTRATION: click here to register online. With your registration form, pick the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia so that your registration counts towards our team. There will be walk-in registration on Saturday morning, which will be located inside Connections for Hope building. Look for the “Walk-In Registration Sign” in registration. Runners and Walkers will receive t-shirts and bags as you check in.
PRE-REGISTERED PACKET PICK UP: Starts at 8am, Saturday, May 19th. Located inside the Connections for Hope building. Runners and Walkers who have pre-registered proceed to Registration. T-shirts and bags will be handed out at check-in. 5K runners will receive a bib along with their bag.
INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING? There’s still time to sign-up for a shift. We would love your help! Footprints for Hope volunteers will be wearing orange t-shirts on Saturday. They will be able to assist you and/or answer questions you may have.
