Vanessa Small, Washington Post reporter, recently interviewed LCNV about worst and best ways to give during the holiday season and beyond.  Two LCNV recommendations were included in the article, “The Seven Worst Ways to Give to A Charity During the Holidays.” Please visit here for the Washington Post article.

(One article correction: LCNV does accept donations of children’s books for its Family Learning Program, but please contact LCNV in advance by email, info@lcnv.org, or phone, 703-237-0866, for book donation guidelines.)

Remember ’tis the season for charitable giving! The LCNV offices will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1, so please make any in-person donations or return any library books no later than  Dec. 23.  Otherwise to ensure your gift counts in 2013, postmark mailed donations to the LCNV office by Dec. 31 or make an online donation through our secure donation link.  Thank you.
