Recently, friends at Online Universities shared a fascinating blog: “25 Inspiring Literacy Projects Around the World.” The blog highlights projects that promote reading and writing through bilingual education, poetry, technology, etc.  While illustrating the global impact of literacy, the article mentions organizations such as Better World Books, the Olinga Foundation for Human Development, National Braille Press, and Lit World.
